New developments at R-Biopharm; Effective April 1, 2003, the French branch of R-Biopharm will change its name from Rhone Diagnostics Technologies to R-Biopharm France S.A.S. The Boehringer Mannheim Enzymatic BioAnalysis and Food Analysis test systems are already being sold by the subsidiary in France (R-Biopharm France) and Italy (R-Biopharm Italia srl). Additionally, effective April 1, 2003 the R-Biopharm RIDASCREEI~(R)/RIDA~(R) product lines will also be sold exclusively from there. In order to support the customers locally, country managers have been established in the Netherlands am Switzerland. Both product lines have been sold by R-Biopharm AG in Switzerland since January 1, 2003. In addition, sales of the R/DASCREEN~(R)/RIDA~(R) product line will begin April 1, 2003. Since the beginning of 2003, R-Biopharm AG in Germany has been successfully selling the products of their subsidiary, R-Biopharm Rhone Ltd. This product line includes among others immunoaffinity columns, ELISAs and card testsfor mycotoxin analysis. Effective March 10, R-Biopharm AG, Germany can be reached in their new offices. The new address is: R-Biopharm AG, LandwehrstraBe 54, D-64293 Darmstadt. "Safety of food and healthy nutrition for humans and animals" this has been the watchword of R-Biopharm AG since its establishment in 1988. Since then the company now has its headquarters in Darmstadt, where tests for nfectious diseases and for the detection of various components in food and animal food are developed and producedon a wide scale. The company now employs approx. 140 people, and has subsidiaries in the USA, Great Britain, Italy and France. Together with a large network of more than 60 distributors, this guarantees world-wide availability of R-Biopharm products
