The concept of accurate, dynamic shaft performance from ac motors in industrial applications has been developed to near perfection throughout the last decade. Decentral drive solutions are not only possible but also highly practical - especially in synergic combinations with aseptic geared motors. The sophisticated decentral frequency converters are now squeezed into rugged field enclosures and can be mounted directly on the motor or close to it, complementing it and creating an energy efficient drives solution for hygienic conveyor applications in the food and beverage industries.
