摘要

Mn_2SnTe_4 was synthesized by direct fusion using the anneal method. X-ray powder diffraction analysis indicated that this material crystallizes in the olivine-type structure, space group Pnma, Z = 4, with unit cell parameters: a = 14020(2) A, b = 8147(1) A, c = 6.607(1) A, V= 754-7(2) A~3. The Rietveld refinement converged to the figures of merit, R_p = 6.9%, R_(wp) = 8.5%, R_(exp) = 6.0%, x~2 = 2.0 and S = 1.4.
