There is greater and greater recognition that we must move away from petroleum-based products to help maintain the world's climate within a suitable range. The US, China, and 73 other countries have recently signed the Paris Agreement on reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In the US, 81 major companies have signed an accord pledging drastic action on climate change, and even the Pope has issued a call for the world to act quickly to prevent climate change destroying the planet.
