P.&G. Dollond Catalogue: A Trade Handbill of c. 1818

Issued in 1818 (Figs 1) after Peter Dollond (1731-1820) (Fig. 2) had finally retired the year before from the business, aged 86, to Richmond Hill in Surrey. Dollonds in 1818 were the world's most famous Practical Opticians and wealthiest Telescope Makers; this Catalogue is evidence of the firm's astonishing productivity.
