'Italian market prefers solvent-borne systems'

More and more coatings producers offer less solvent-based systems in their products, due to legislative regulation and customer demands across Europe. In contrast to this development, Francesco Tamburrino, Commercial Manager at Italian company Novaresine, says that certain segments in the Italian market still prefer solvent- over waterborne systems for their coatings. Therefore, the market for solvent-based systems should grow further in the region, according to him.
