Eduard Mathai GmbH has developed a new mobile colorimeter. The "Color-striker" gives what the manufacturer calls "true colour measurement" -the precise and authentic reproduction on screen of the colours measured. The unit is small and easy to handle, weighing only 120 g. It ensures that the colours of various materials and surfaces can bemeasured without contact - examples being textiles, leather, wall paints and varnishes, timbers, veneers and panels, tiles and plastics. Measurement accuracy is 0.6 Delta E, and data transmission is performed using Bluetooth.
