Dry solutions

摘要

Cement-based materials are naturally porous and the resulting water absorption can cause damage and degradation.A method of converting liquid hydrophobic additives to a powder form which can be incorporated into the dry cement is described.One such additive is shown to greatly reduce water absorption of cement mortars.
