No need to change thermal oil with solvent recovery unit

Ofru Recycling,based in Babenhausen/ Hessen in central Germany,is launching a solvent recovery unit onto the market.The unit,which operates by evaporating solvent and is called the "ASC-150",meets the ATEX requirements for explosive atmospheres,has been prototype-tested and,like the other,larger models from this manufacturer,has integral steam heating.The advantages over conventional thermal oil heating are that the soiled solvent heajs up quickly,and that the distillation rate is high despite the compact construction.Large distillation vessels can be dispensed with,because of the innovative heating method and construction.Also abandoned is the need to change the thermal oil annually.To operate the integral steam heating,all that is required is an electrical connection to a 400 V supply.
