"Morphologi G3" is a fully automated particle characterisation system from Malvern Instruments. It determines particle size in a range from 0.5 urn to 3,000 urn and records images of all particles. It has a Scattergram for sorting and filtering, and a fully integrated sample dispersion unit for controlled sample preparation. Software monitoring of all the dispersion parameters means that reproducible dry powder dispersions with consistent and controlled alignment of the particles are guaranteed. The sample is completely enclosed, and the system allows bulk materials to undergo a singledispersion or a large number of smaller samples to be prepared.
