Green Circle Bio Energy is a US-based wood pellet manufacturer, it owns one production plant in Cottondale, Florida and in July announced it was to build another, slightly smaller facility in Mississippi. The $115 million (?86 million) plant will export 100% of its 500,000 tonne capacity to the UK, but it is proving a challenge and ground has not yet even broken on the project. As Morten Neraas, Green Circle's president and CEO, explains: 'The progress of the incentive system in the UK is very frustrating and has been the one thing that is delaying our progress the most.'
