摘要

German industry federation Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie's (BDI) calls for a restructuring of renewable energy policies could see the elimination of the nation's Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme which helped the nation become Europe's largest producer of renewable energy. Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has begun her third term in office after winning Germany's election towards the end of September, previously said that if she won, the current subsidy system would be overhauled. BDI hopes to see such a reform in the new government's first 100 days.
