Have you ever thought of going to the BBKA Spring Convention? Each year I have seen the adverts for it and the thought of going would pass through my mind, then I would dismiss the idea. I imagined it would be too specialised, too elitist, too far and too costly. Then, a year ago I decided I would give it a go in 2013 and began to plan for it as a self-indulgent mini-break.
