Basic Assessment - the Assessor's point of view

Iattended Anne Binns' first session as a new Assessor for the Basic examination in July at the North Devon branch apiary. It was a foul day with almost continuous rain. I shadowed Anne (almost literally!) as she took candidates through their assessment, and performed the role of umbrella monitor, sheltering bees and candidates alike during the process. I thought the membership would be interested in hearing something from the Assessor's point of view and Anne agreed to be interviewed about her experience.
