We sometimes talk of "working in the apiary", but surely not in April when it is such a delight to be there after the winter abstinence. Provided that we are able to choose a warm, calm day then the feeling that summer is coming and we are back to working regularly with the bees cheers the spirits and especially so for the new members who have taken theory classes during the winter months and are now, at last, able to make direct contact with their new hobby.
