Statoil said normal operations were restored onits Grane field in the Norwegian North Sea on18 October, ending a substantial reduction in out-put since early October.The cut in production was caused by problemswith the gear shaft on the platform’s injectioncompressor following an extensive overhaul ofthis equipment during a planned turnaround inSeptember.
