Magnolia LNG contractors extend investment deadline

The contractors for the Magnolia LNG export project on the US Gulf coast have extended the date under which they would guarantee a construction price of $4.35bn. KSJV, a venture between US engineering firm KBR and South Korea's SK Engineering and Construction, has agreed to guarantee the price of the lump sum, turnkey contract if Magnolia LNG makes a positive investment decision by 30 June. The venture previously extended the deadline to 31 January and before that to 31 December from 30 April 2016.
