Foreign funds getting into China's dairy industry.

摘要

Expansion of the dairy sector in China following accession of China to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in 2001 is discussed. Aspects considered include: increased consumer demand for dairy products in China as a result of increasing affluence and the influence of Western culture; economic implications of China joining the WTO; and the interest of foreign dairy companies in the Chinese dairy industry.
