Haigh's maceration equipment can reduce the particle size to 2-3mm and in certain circumtances even smaller, thereby increasing the surface area of the material for the bacteria to act on.Haigh macerators andliseps are also ideally used to separate liquids and solids, and even solids and packaging - depending on the type, category and source of the collected waste.Haigh Engineering was recently approached by UK-based Evergreen Gas, a company specialising in developing modular small scale AD plants for farms and communities.
