摘要

The chemical composition of soils in the Central Chernozemic Area was investigated. The regularities in element distribution in the parent materials and soil cover were revealed for typomorphic and trace elements such as Si, Al, Fe, Ca, Mg, K, Na, P, S, Ti, Mn, Cr, V, Ni, Zn, Cu, Co, Mo, Be, Ba, Zr, Sr, B, and I. The content of mobile forms of P_2O_5, K_2O, Mn, Cu, Zn, Co, Mo, B, and I in zonal soils was determined. The studied territory was divided into soil-geochemical regions in accordance with the content of chemical elements in the soils. The background content of chemical elements in soils was suggested for the assessment of soil pollution.
