Sammo reflects on busy year and looks to future successes: Sammo Group's managing director, about the Italian packaging giant's plans for the coming year

HAT have been the main developments for Sammo's fresh produce packaging in the last year? The last year has been a productive and innovative one for us regarding our fresh produce operations. We are set to relaunch a new and improved grader for fruitsand vegetables, complete with dumping system (a machine capable of reading external quality on the whole fruit's surface without rotation). We have also studied a new automatic system for punnet packaging, in place of traditional weighing machines for mass production.
