Changes in the salt regime of chernozem in transbaikal region caused by irrigation with mineralized water

Strong capillary bonds facilitate the seasonal transfer of salts and the disturbance of the sulfate-calcium equilibrium without regard for irrigation water quality. Upon irrigation, the effect of superimposed evaporative and cryogenic concentrations on soil solutions increases drastically. The transformation of the salt profile in irrigated soils, the modification of exchange cation composition, and other processes were studied.
