Interpretation of the Soil Cover in Forest-Steppe Landscapes on the Basis of Multizonal Space Images Made in Different Seasons

The possibilities for thematic interpretation of satellite-based images obtained in the winter and summer seasons are analyzed. The efficiency of the method of principle components for thematic interpretation of space images is assessed. A system of interpretation methods is considered. This system is based on a combination of the graphic analysis of spectral brightness of objects and spatial analysis of superimposed cluster and thematic maps.
