SKF Grease knowledge and sustainability

摘要

In order to develop low energy consumption bearing solutions with a long service life a sound knowledge of lubrication is required. In this paper, the SKF knowledge on grease lubrication is briefly described and some examples will be given on how this knowledge is translated into products which contribute to sustainability. These products are new lubricating greases, and new bearing designs in which new grease developments have been integrated.
