摘要

A close relationship is established between the origin of nonconcretionary neoformations in soils and current soil-forming processes, the chemical composition of groundwater, and the degree of soil hydromorphism. The diagnostic importance of iron lamellae (pseudofibers, ortsands), humus-ferric-aluminum cementation zones, meadow chalk and marl, amorphous accumulations of iron and manganese hydroxides, and other nonconcretionary neoformations is revealed. A classification of these neoformations based on the assessment of their morphogenetic and chemical properties is suggested.
