Facial specificity of soil salinization in ultracontinental deserts of the subboreal zone of Asia

The works of E.V. Lobova devoted to facial specificity of desert soils in the subboreal zone of Asia are analyzed. Characterization of the soils is given. Special attention is paid to soil salinization as one of the most distinctive features characterizing facial specificity of desert soils. Soil salinization in ultracontinental and continental soil facies is compared. The role of facial and regional conditions in salinization of automorphic and hydromorphic soils in deserts of the subboreal zone of Asia is revealed.
