INTERNATIONAL modified atmosphere packaging and post harvest specialist StePac underlined its commitment to the Turkish cherry industry recently by organising a seminar for the country's growers and exporters in Antalya. The meeting, aimed at increasing awareness of the global cherry sector among local growers and improving the quality of exports to other European countries, included presentations from a number of important speakers on several topics, including varietal research, packaging and market expectations in the UK.
