Development of a Basin Approach in Pedological and Ecological Studies

摘要

The potential of the basin concept for studying the development of the soil cover structure in highlands is shown. A lithological catchment basin is considered as a basic natural geosystem playing an important role in the biospheric processes of different levels. Based on the basin approach in ecological studies, one can unify methods and procedures and perform comparative analyses and scientific substantiation of system organization in soil-ecological monitoring and nature management.
