Driscoll's de Chile has significantly strengthened its blueberry business after acquiring a new packhouse in Rio Bueno, as output is set to top 2m trays for the first time this season. "Up to now all our berries have been packed and shipped from our packhouse in Chilian," says MD Mauricio Gonzalez. "The facility is located right in the heart of one of our main production zones and this will enable us to reduce transportation times and maximize efficiency within the supply chain."
