Peat soils of the Kola Peninsula

Genetic features and the organic matter of peat soils in the central part of the Kola Peninsula have been studied. Eutrophic peat soils of low moors and oligotrophic peat soils of upland bogs differ from one another by their physical and physicochemical properties, ash content and composition, and organic matter composition. The peat soils of transitional (mesotrophic) bogs are closer to the eutrophic peat soils than to the oligotrophic peat soils.
