Elements of the water regime and physical properties of soddy-podzolic soils under forest, cropland, and layland in Moscow oblast

The effect of different land management practices on the water regime and some physical properties of soddy-podzolic loamy soils is discussed on the basis of data obtained and published by the Moscow Region Water-Balance Station of the Moscow Center on Hydrometeorology and Monitoring of the Environment.
