Amelioration of Solonetzes on Irrigated Lands of the Volga-Don Interfluve

A combined effect of ameliorating factors (iron sulfate, irrigation water, manure, and deep three-layer plowing) on the dynamics of the main properties of solonetzes has been studied. A scheme of the effect of ameliorative factors and their synergism on physicochemical, physical, and biochemical processes is proposed. It is shown that multiple amelioration procedures improve agrophysical and physicochemical properties of solonetzes.
