Equinor Sells Some US Gulf Assets to LLOG

Equinor has sold a swath of deepwater exploration acreage in the US Gulf of Mexico, including two undeveloped discoveries, to private player LLOG Exploration, the companies conOrmed. The transaction, which was completed earlier this month, includes Equinor’s interests in about 20 blocks located mainly in the Walker Ridge area, southeast of the Occidental Petroleum-operated Heidelberg production platform.
