Timerfruit to source more Chilean grapes: Dutch importer Timerf ruit will source larger volumes of Chilean grapes and stonefruit this year

DUTCH importer Timerf ruit is preparing to increase its Chilean grape and stonefruit programmes by one third this year. The company's Tim Reincke says that demand for pie-packed grapes in punnets will account for a significant share of this increase."Over the past few years we have been investing in new packaging in order to fulfil the demands of the European retail market," notes Mr Reincke, "We are confident that sales of pre-packed grapes and stonefruit will rise steadily this year throughout Europe as a whole."
