Standing still is rarely an option for any company holding onto a market-leading position, and it is no different for Euro Pool System, Europe's largest logistics service provider of returnable containers for fresh produce. The group has announced that it acquired 100 per cent of shares in Toulouse, France-based palletpooling expert La Palette Rouge (lpr) on 30 September 2011, as it bids to position itself as the leading service provider in return logistics and returnable assets solutions, while also continuing to grow in its core markets and beyond.
