IMPROVED product quality, greater packaging options and better sizing standards have obliged Russia's import market to give Turkish fresh produce the green light in recent years, says Cem Goktekin, export manager at Turkish producer Ozler Tarim Agri Business. "Great efforts have been made by Turkish growers to come up to speed with the certification and phytosanitary requirements imposed by Russian authorities," he comments.
