The Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) adopted more than 20 new and amended food standards during its annual meeting, which ended on July 3. The new standards and texts to protect consumer health and promote fair practices in the international food trade include measures concerning animal feed and dairy products as well as a new definition oftraceabi-lity/product tracing.
