On the 25 July 2012, the government published its decision to alter the current level of financial support available to renewable energy technologies for 2013-2017 via the Renewables Obligations (ROs) legislation. The banding is said to consolidate governmental recognition of the UK's importance in establishing a global turn towards renewable resources, as well as a commitment to stabilising the British economy.
