Sustainable Development Bill for Wales

On 3 December 2012, the Welsh Government launched a White Paper which set out the key elements of the forthcoming Sustainable Development Bill. It aims at mainstreaming sustainable development in the Welsh public service organisations and, in a wider sense, constitutes a significant stepping stone in using legislation to pursue sustainable development in the UK. Here Radoslaw Stech, a researcher at Cardiff University reviews the content of the White Paper.
