The case of Enfield BC V Outdoor Plus [2012] EWCA Civ. 608 concerns damage for trespass arising out of the erection of backlit advertising hoardings. In April 2004 Outdoor Plus Limited used contractors to erect a backlit advertising hoarding beside the North Circular Road at 67 Bowes Road, London, N11, which was owned by Mr Mukesh Shah who was to receive an index-linked annual rent of ￡11,000.
