Milk and meat from cloned animals

Meat from cloned cattle has made its way into the food chain admitted the Food Standards Agency in early August. Meat from at least two bulls that were the offspring of cloned animals has entered the UK food chain. Meat and milk from the animals is thought to be safe to eat, but should not have been released into the food chain without relevant approvals under the Novel Food Regulations.
