In Moore v Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government [2010] EWHC 1698 (Admin) by an application for judicial review, Moore sought to quash the approval of visitor moorings on the River Brent. The challenge was on the basis that the moorings could jeopardise government plans to promote use of the inland waterways for the transportation of freight and waste.
