In R (on the application of Janet Harris) v Haringey London Borough Council and Grainger Seven Sisters Ltd & Northumberland & Durham Property Trust Ltd & Equality & Human Rights Commission [2010] (2010) BLGR 713 campaigners successfully contested plans to demolish a local market in Tottenham in order to build flats and a shopping complex by arguing that race relations provisions were breached.
