Also on 26 November 2008 the UK Energy Bill received Royal Assent.The Energy Act follows the Energy Review 2006 and the Energy White Paper 2007 to promote a new energy strategy.Elements of this include the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions in order to combat climate change by the provision of secure,clean and affordable energy.
