Background: Little is known, so far, about the cerebral structural abnormalities in drug-naive patients with childhood absence epilepsy (CAE). We aimed to investigate regional grey matter (GM) volume differences using voxel-based morphometry (VBM) in patients and closely matched healthy control subjects.
