Sensor-Based Sorting 2014: International Community of Operators and Researchers Meets in Aachen

In early March, the sixth biennial Conference "Sensor-Based Sorting" was held in Aachen to address current and new developments and applications in the field of automatic sensor Separation techniques for primary and secondary raw materials. The Conference was hosted by the GDMB Society of Metallurgists and Miners and by two departments of RWTH Aachen University. The scientific direction was formed by Professor Thomas Pretz of the Department of Processing and Recycling and Professor Hermann Wotruba of the Unit of Mineral Processing.
