Operation and Measurement System TYPE-i for Drivetrain Testing

The drivetrain test system is required for dealing with a variety of settings such as the condition of load control at the time of a road running reproduction test. Such setting conditions for measurements change regularly according to the testing purpose. In order to meet such requirements, we have developed an Operation and Measurement System for Drivetrain Testing. We realized better usability, improved measurement control performance, and a compact design. Conventionally, we had to operate two systems at the same time: an operation setting panel with a built-in touch panel and a PC-based unit for operation. The newly developed system, on the other hand, can establish an operation environment in a single location thanks to the adoption of a touch screen. Still more, the new system offers some advanced features such as intuitive operation by an operation controller with good visual check performance (2015 iF Design Award received) and a freely replaceable multi-point measuring function of the TEDS Formats. This system vastly improved the operation and measurements performance.
