Heterogeneous and Homogeneous Processes in Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Propane in a Catalytic Fixed Bed Reactor

The oxidative catalytic dehydrogenation (OCD) of light alkanes is an interesting alternative to well known processes for olefine production. As a contribution to the development of a process for the oxidative catalytic dehydrogenation labscale experiments were carried out in a tubular flow reactor using a commercial catalyst (Sud-Chemie, Pt-Ni).
