UK engineering solutions provider, Costain, is involved in a project which the Oil and Gas Authority has recently lauded as "significant" for the future of the UK continental shelf. Costain has worked closely with Hurricane Energy on hydrocarbon resources in naturally fractured basement reservoirs, to produce a number of field development options for their Lancaster discovery, West of Shetland.
