Indian Oil, Partners Launch Advanced Biofuel Research Center in India

State-owned oil company Indian Oil Corp. (IOC) announced March 11 that it, along with India’s Department of Biotechnology, inaugurated the opening of their Center for Advanced Bio-Energy Research on the campus of IOC’s research and development (R&D) center in Faridabad. The new bio-energy R&D center features an established, state-of-the-art lignocellulosic ethanol pilot plant, provided by the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
